Gorila (go-riler) is an ape antagonist who appears in Snurps.
He attacks Snurp Atoll and steals the Snurp Amulet, which wards off invaders. The islands defenseless, the ape retreated into his hideout and kept the Amulet.
The Hero sets out to his hideout to try and reclaim the treasure and stop Gorila.
Appearance[]
Gorila is a brown gorilla with meta bands on his arms and wears a copper breastplate with a copper helmet.
His eyes are cartoonish but menacing and he has nostrils above his grumpy mouth.
Personality[]
Gorila is a brute and hates anyone getting in his way. However, he is somewhat incompetent at times and can easily be fooled. When he is angry or serious, however, he becomes far more dangerous.
First Battle at the Hideout[]
When the party reaches Gorila at his hideaway, he becomes cross at this.
Gorila: What's this? Bugs playing heroes?
Hero: Give the Amulet back!
Gorila: No.
Hero: ... Hey! We need it!
Gorila: Sigh, looks like I'm gonna have to smash your little game.
The Hero sweatdrops.
Hero: We will fight you for it!
Gorila: You asked for it, pipsqueaks!

| Berserk | "You're going down, punks!" Used once at 50% HP and rarely after. Causes all hits to be 50% Criticals and 50% misses for 3 turns. |
| Rampage | "Gorila went on a rampage!" Gorila leaps around and deals heavy damage to 3 random targets. |
| Once More! (auto) | Gorila can act twice in one turn. He can act thrice at 50% HP. |
Upon Defeat[]
A cutscene plays;
Gorila: I-i-impossible!
Hero: Now give us the medal!!
Gorila: Uhh, well, I... sold it.
The Hero and party leap back with shocked faces.
Hero: You what?!
Gorila: Hey, they gave me riches for it!
Hero: Who's 'they'?!
Gorila: I forgot.
Hero: ... ... ...
Gorila: Look, if it makes you rats leave me alone, take my sailboat. It'll fit in your dock.
The party then becomes able to use the sailboat at the dock of Snurp Atoll.
